depend on the world outside of ourselves to tell us how to think and live. Rarely do we get the chance to shut down all of the noise, connect with nature, and have time to be (gasp) alone. Enter the badlands of western North Dakota. In dire need of a nature fix and some alone time with my camera, I decided to drive the 36-mile scenic loop in the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, just outside of a little gem known as Medora, North Dakota. It's just a short 30 minute drive west of Dickinson. There you'll find Theodore Roosevelt National Park. A little driving and hiking was exactly what I needed.
